Red Squirrel Group Talk

Talk on all things squirrel...

Ian Jack from the P&DRSG will be at MMVI on Thursday 13th February 2020 to give a talk/presentation on all things squirrel.

...after the concerns late last year of grey squirrels being seen in our neighbourhood, threatening our precious reds, and our communities working together with the local Penrith and District Red Squirrel society, we are pleased to welcome Ian Jack and Gary Murphy from that charity to MMVI to talk to us and give a presentation about the work they do on Thursday 13th February 2020 at 7.30pm.

There is a suggested minimum donation of £3 per person which will include tea and biscuits, all proceeds to go to PDRS.

About MMVI

Maulds Meaburn Village Institute (MMVI)exists to provide a service for the community, bringing people together through a varied programme of events throughout the year and offering a great venue for social activities and a meeting place for clubs and organisations.

MMVI is a community venue, run by volunteers from the local area – from committee members to dedicated people who help in all sorts of ways. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, but what we all have in common is that we want the Institute to be a vibrant hub for the community, bringing people together.

We always welcome extra pairs of hands and there are lots of ways to help out, whether you can spare a little time or a lot.
